My daughter and I were talking the other day, both of us are Ambiverts in Meyers-Briggs lingo. Essentially, we are good for some high quality, valuable extroversion and yet our “Social Battery” drains, sometimes quickly, just depends on what is going on. Truth be told, I was far more an Extrovert when younger.
Introverts recharge their batteries by themselves and Extroverts recharge their battery with other people. So as you would imagine, some days we have a full battery, some days not. How does your “Social Battery” work? How much charge does it have, how often, with whom? There are other “Batteries” in our life that need recharging, here is just a reminder…kind of like that check engine light in your car. Here are 10 “Batteries” to consider recharging to find more joy, happiness and zeal for life.
Here are 10 Batteries to consider recharging to find more joy, happiness and zeal for life:
Risk Tolerance
Motivation
Physical Drive
Emotional
Gratitude
Cognitive
Spiritual
Appreciation and Humility
Nutrition and Hydration
Communication and Conflict Management
We all have multiple batteries that are charging the different aspects of our lives. If you could plug in and recharge one or two of them, which ones would you choose? I no longer live at the Energizer Bunny pace, too draining. What do you think?
Have a good week!
All the best, much love!
Dave
