Not Surprising…But We Can Learn

Updated: Jan 17, 2023

Would it surprise us to know that most people don’t care about our problems and most of the rest of them are glad we have them? Not sure if there are research numbers to go with this assertion but intuitively it isn’t a shocker and our natural inclination when we hear this isn’t to say, “No it’s not.”

We understand that most people are too busy living their life and fighting their own battles to care what we are doing (unless there is an opportunity to cancel us I suppose.) So that means our self-determination and resilience to stay on the path is paramount…we have to do it ourselves and, if fortunate, we will have a few supporters that have our back on a regular basis.

So, if we are going to “do it ourselves” what are 10 areas we want to focus on when we make a little time but are not sure where to start… Here is a uniquely stated list I would suggest that will help you find more direction and happiness, starting immediately.

  1. Our Legacy (We have to design and make it clear so when we pass it is not assigned to us)

  2. Our Philosophies (parental, work, leadership…write them down and align our actions)

  3. Our Chariot (All physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual horses must run the same direction)

  4. Our Internal Energy (we all have a vibration and the goal is to raise it and keep it up)

  5. Our Connected Energy (when we raise our vibration we can offer the best of us to others)

  6. Our Mindset (questioning everything, doing our own research and looking at life positively)

  7. Our Mosaic (how we view the collective, yet individual happenings to paint a more accurate pic)

  8. Our Curiosity (being in pursuit of truth even when the answer doesn’t feel good)

  9. Our Forgiveness (of ourselves and others…letting go of the emotions will give you years on life)

  10. Our Joy (noticing and gratitude in the moment for experiences that shine bright light on our day)

I care. Clearly I do…because it is my “why” for why I write these weekly pieces for you. If you need help, support, coaching or training, please reach out. In the meantime, we can help ourselves by creating our own list of what we want and need to focus…Then, as they say nowadays, “Let’s Goooooo!”

Much care and love to you and yours!

Dave
