Whatever our struggles, no matter how many or often, we need a mantra. It doesn’t matter if the obstacles are related to a project or our life…we need something short and sweet to give ourselves the reminder we need in a ‘down’ moment. “Just keep going” is the one I use. It began when I restarted lifting dumbbells again during Covid.
When I wasn’t seeing the progress I wanted…Just. Keep. Going. Became my mantra. I figured that if I just kept going I would live my way into the results I wanted. Of course, at 50, much weightlifting is really about trying to retain the muscle we lose just by getting oldER. And like weights, most projects will require long term attention. Exercise, relationships and life projects are very much in the business of “what have you done for me lately?!” Maybe you are struggling with something right now.
Just. Keep. Going.
It is an acknowledgement to the higher self that the struggle is real and you are going to put your head down and go through it. Like water dripping continuously, eventually indenting a seemingly impermeable object.
Just. Keep. Going.
What are some other Mantras that you could create for yourself. I like one, small, concise phrase that gets right to it. Here are some other suggestions.
I let go of what I cannot control and focus on what I can.
Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and learning.
I am dedicated to my personal growth and self-improvement.
I have the power to form the life I desire through my actions and choices.
I can overcome any challenge.
I control of my thoughts and emotions.
I have the courage to face my fears and grow stronger.
I trust in the process.
I am resilient and can bounce back from any setback.
I am worthy of success and will relish every opportunity.
I am grateful for this moment and all that it brings.
I will focus on the positive
I embrace the power of change and adapt with ease.
Every step forward makes me closer to my goals.
I am strong and capable of greatness.
Just keep Going. Or, whatever you generate that is meaningful and helpful to you.
Wishing you a great month.
All my best and much love!
Dave
