Hunting Humans and Our Four Horse Chariot

When I typed the words into Google search engine, “what hunts humans?” I was shocked, not utterly, to see it right there in front of us. I have said before, you must look at what is hidden in plain site to fully understand any subject. So, you might have guesses about what appeared as the answer, the answer to hunting (usually in the context of killing, right??) humans. Maybe you thought it was aliens. Maybe you thought it might be some type of large cat, maybe a wolf…which by the way do hunt humans…but that was not the answer it gave me. It even gave me pictures of what to look out for every time I leave the house (not a wolverine, either.) The answer to the question of what this search engine (at this exact time I typed it in) said was hunting us was Potatoes, Corn, Oats and Wheat. Right there, with pictures.

Sooo, I’m not here to get into a nutritional food fight with anyone but we do know by our experience that this could be true. Corn on the cob, one of my favorites…not filled with any nutritional value for me as a human.

Sooo, I think this is an good analogy to get us thinking about the things that are hunting us in our life that we might not even be thinking about in that way. Whether you headed for a bowl of cream of wheat or not, can you identify thanks in your life that might be hunting you or your 4 Horse Chariott…the Physical, Emotional, Social and Spritual thoroughbreds of our life? Always worth checking what is right under a small pile, behind a partially opened door, or a side-step off our path. And…what is immediately before us. Don’t fall victim of the mentality, “If it’s not in my back pocket it’s too far away.”

Here is to open eyes and hearts, much love!

Dave
