We all need to recharge, the question is how do we do it at the office. Well, sometimes we have to steal time from our own lives. Here are ten ways to recharge during the work day:
Sound Bath…listen to a combination of Sound Bowls playing and pleasantly overwhelming you with positive vibrations.
“Walk and Talk” around the office or organization’s campus, talking with someone that you are solving a problem with or who will just listen as you get light exercise
Give to others…the best of us are able to give even when we are hurting ourselves
Guided Imagery or Mediation for a couple minutes
Breathing Exercises
Hydrating
Changing environments (even if only for a few minutes)
Organizing your environment or deleting a bunch of emails
Stand if you have been sitting for an hour or more
Call someone you care about to say hi
Remember, no one is going to step up to help us take a moment for ourselves…we have to do it! Build these things into your daily life and watch your stress levels go down while find more happiness.
