10 Ways to be a Calmer Parent and/or Leader

Stress levels are on high for many at the moment, individuals of all ages…including kids. Everyone can use a new trick, technique and someone once said, “Sometimes it’s better to be reminded than to be told.” You might already know how to do some of these yet put them in the closet. Time to pull them out or add them to the tool box!

If you want to be a better leader, look to how to you can improve your own physiology before, during and after stress. Here are 10 ways to be a calmer parent or leader.

  • Breathe regularly (remember that your breathing is connected to your heart rate)

  • Remember that every problem has a (or more than one) solution

  • Mediation (even for 2 minute intervals. Yes, you can do it!)

  • Reiki

  • Conflict Management Mastery (real and advanced skills)

  • Positive Thinking and visualization

  • Do not think the worst or “practice bleeding” (it might never even happen)

  • Make Lemonade out of Lemons

  • Don’t sweat the small stuff

  • Come from a place of love (yes, even at work)

Let me know if I can support you with an introductory reiki session, teach an easy way you or your kids can meditate, coach you through a tough time or help you incorporate proven conflict management skills that I have taught thousands of people like yourself. Get hired, get a raise, increase your existing skills, better develop your team or your kids…I can show you a better way to increase success, wellness and reduce stress.

Have a great day!

Much Love,

Dave
